Training Plan Development

  • Determine goals and target race date based upon initial conversations and athlete questionnaire
  • Discuss Training Methodology (Explain Periodized approach;  Define: Easy, Threshold, Repetition, Interval runs and the purpose of each)
  • Discuss viability of goals- suggest mutually agreed upon alternatives if appropriate. We can work together to set realistic and attainable goals!
  • Discuss desired training plan length: 12 Weeks / 18 Weeks / 24 Weeks
  • Develop training plan to accomplish goals and establish stepping stones/ benchmarks/ milestones along the way.
  • Training plan will be fully customized to the athlete, based upon recent performance.
  • Training plan may be revised due to variations/anomalies in the pacing (i.e.- used a recent uncharacteristic performance to determine paces) or changes in your availability, etc.
  • Access to the Silver Fox Athletics Facebook group. An online home to all program athletes for networking and information.
